Record 3....Cleveland....New Chick Singer
Happy 4th everyone!!!  Record 3 is mixed and almost mastered (a few tweaks needed) and then it goes to print!  It's so hard to believe it's finally finished, and I hope everyone likes the result as much as I do.  Thanks to Doug Sisemore for his guidance and patience.  Hoping to post CD release info in the next week or so....stay tuned!
We just wrapped up a tour to Cleveland, which was quite eventful...after getting drenched at the wine festival, gear and all, I managed to get our van stuck in the mud at the Green Freedom Fest (hey, I thought those things had four wheel drive--I'm a total chick, I know).  We had to unload all of the gear in a big sloshy puddly of Ohio mud!  Good things that happened; we made new friends and fans, we managed to only eat McDonalds one time, and our new chick singer / keyboard player, Erin, became well acclimated with the ups and downs of DM band life (she's awesome by the way!!)  All in all, it was well worth it!   We will be making a return trip to Cleveland next year, and can't wait to reconnect with all the great folks we encountered.  This month we have a number of great shows coming up, including Taste of the Glen, Kane County Fair, and Benton County Fair w/Jake Owen!!  Hope to see you out--don't be a stranger!

Best of 2004!
The Northwest Indiana Times voted the new CD "Tangled Up In You" one of the top ten CDs of 2004.  Here is what they said:

Dayna Malow -- "Tangled Up in You" (Jabberwocky)

She's a little bit rock ‘n' roll and a whole lotta country. Chicago's Dayna Malow is a singer who employs a nice balance of sweetness and sass.

Malow co-authored many of the 10 songs appearing on her sophomore CD.

She has a knack for weaving strong lyrical stories in true Nashville tradition and conveys them while accompanied by fiddle, banjo, mandolin, bass, drums and guitar.

Malow collaborates with remarkable musicians/writers like Mark Lonsway and others. This writer believes Malow has everything it takes to make the big leagues. Best cuts: "Kiss Me", "Beautiful Day" and "Comin' Home." www.daynamalow.com

Distribution Secured!!!
We got an early Christmas present this year!  We just signed the forms for a distribution deal that will bring "Tangled Up In You" to the shelves of your local music stores.  Hopefully by Chrstmas you will be able to purchase the new CD at your neighborhood Walmart and Best Buy.  We will bring more information to you once CDs are shipped!
